This iodine-rich food prevents diseases of the thyroid gland and thus should be fed at least once a week. sera GVG-mix is especially suitable for community aquariums which are mainly stocked with live-bearing tooth carps, and for saltwater fish.

These fish need much more iodine and other minerals than freshwater fish. sera marin consists of 80 % special flakes made from marine algae, ground krill and plankton. 20 % are FD bloodworms, Daphnia and Artemia shrimps. sera marin is excellent for providing marine fish with iodine and other essential minerals as well as prevention of thyroid gland diseases. For saltwater aquariums with only few fish we recommend sera GVG-mix instead of sera marin, as it is available in smaller containers.

A vegetable flake food containing Spirulina for herbivorous fish such as catfish (e.g: Plecostomus), live-bearing tooth carps, Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika cichlids (e.g: Tropheus). These species should be fed sera flora and sera Spirulina Tabs as a staple diet. This appropriate nutrition makes the fish more resistant to diseases.

Flake food for the daily feeding of all goldfish in the aquarium and the garden pond. Goldfish need less protein and more easy-to-digest carbohydrates than tropical fish. sera goldy contains Spirulina and wheat germ meal and is thus an ideal food for coldwater fish in the aquarium or in the pond. Feeding sera goldy in autumn and early spring strengthens the fish before and after hibernation.

FD Bloodworms
sera FD Bloodworms are freeze-dried tasty morsels for all ornamental fish. They are ideally suitable as a supplement and for a varied nutrition according to the fish’s requirements. Due to the special manufacturing method and the vacuum freeze-drying process they are free from germs. In community aquariums they should be fed twice weekly. Exception: Tropheus cichlids must never be fed with bloodworms!

Finely powdered growth food for all young fish of egglaying species until they reach the size of a newborn live-bearing tooth carp (6 mm). sera micron is also an excellent food for marine fish fry and Artemia nauplias. It consists of high-quality natural ingredients such as Spirulina, Daphnia, Cyclops, plankton and mussels. We recommend preparing a food paste from a portion of sera micron and sera fishtamin and feeding it to the young fish five times a day.
mikropan
Rearing food for live-bearing tooth carp and mouth-brooder fry. sera mikropan is also suitable for the young fish of egg-laying species once they have reached the size of a new-born tooth carp (6 mm). sera mikropan is high in crude fibre and thus supports activity of the bowels. The high calcium content supports skeletal growth.
During the first weeks we recommend preparing a paste from sera mikropan and sera fishtamin and feeding it once a day.
microgran

Due to its small grain size, sera microgran is best suited for small characins and barbs as well as catfish, loaches, dwarf cichlids and small anabantoids.
