Food:

Omnivorous; live, frozen and pellet foods, flakes are rarely accepted.

Care and maintenance:

A well planted tank with a fine smooth substrate (to protect their barbells), as they like to forage for food scraps. A peaceful species, which should be kept in small schools, corydoras mix well with small soft water fishes.
