Flakes, frozen, freeze dried and live foods

Care and maintenance:

One of the easiest tetras to keep, schooling fish but can successfully kept in pairs, two males will mock battle but will not damage each other, prefers a well planted tank with some floating plants, a peaceful fish ideally suited for community tanks stocked with other tetras and dwarf cichlids.
