The Ocean Runner pumps are powerful universal pumps to be used as circulation or current pumps, both in saltwater and freshwater aquaria. The Ocean Runners are supplied with a rugged pump housing, an energy saving motor, a polished ceramic shaft and ceramic bearings. All these qualities ensure a quiet and maintenance free performance for many years.
The Ocean runner pumps are also available in outdoor proofed version with 10 m rubber cable for ponds.

The Aqua Medic overflow box is mounted to the outside of the aquarium. A constant water level is maintained after the start of the overflow. Water circulation is achieved by pumping the water up from the filter-sump into the aquarium, and then with the use of the overflow box back into the filter. This makes it possible to connect aquariums to under the counter filters systems without having to drill holes in the tank. The overflow box is a completely constructed form acrylic and available in two types:
Type 1 up to 2500 l/h (625 gph), and
Type 2 up to 5000 l/h ( 1250 gph)

The Turboflotor Multi SL is our most versatile protein skimmer. It can be fixed to the side of the aquarium (´hang-on´ mode), or placed inside or outside the sump of the filter. Its compact size makes it small enough to be stored under the cabinet.
In the ´hang-on´mode, only the pump is placed inside the aquarium. The pump Ocean Runner PH 2500, 37 W, features a venturi with the patented Aqua Medic needle wheel. The skimmer itself has the conical collection cup inner tube (also patented), and a lid, and two outflow boxes for directing the outflow back into the aquarium.
As an option, a large 1.2 litre (0.3 gallon) Filter Box can be placed at the outlets, for use as a first stage biological filter.

The Turboflotor 1000 is a compact skimmer with an integrated trickle filter, designed for installation in a sump. The skimmer includes venturi pump with needle wheel to mix air with water and pushes both into the reaction pipe (110 mm, 4.4 inches in diameter). The skimmer´s design ensures an intensive air-water mix giving a long contact time for the air bubbles. The bubbles create foam that is collected in the conical foam cup. Treated water from the reaction cylinder is fed to the attached Bactoball filled trickle filter, which is used for biological filtration.

The reef 1000 filtration system is designed for installation in the cabinet under an aquarium. In a compact space it contains nearly all the equipment necessary for the maintenance of a successful modern reef aquarium. The system comprises a sump, 90 x 36 x 35 cm (c. 36" x 14.5" x 14"), with a mechanical filter chamber containing sponges. From here, the water flows via two venturi pumps into twin turboflotor 1000 protein skimmers, with their post skimming trickle towers loaded with Bactoballs. Additional components are the Nitratereductor and the Calcium Reactor with Dosing pumps SP 3000 and the Niveaustat, a system for automatic replenishment of evaporated fresh water from the aquarium.
