Best kept in a well-planted aquarium, use some rockwork and driftwood but leave ample swimming area. They are territorial so a larger aquarium is recommended and choose their tank mates carefully; smaller tank mates such as neon tetras are often considered food. Small angels will swim in schools and when larger will pair off, they form nuclear families and are faithful to their mate.
